Communities Empowered Through Construction (CEC) program mission is to build a bridge between public officials, community needs, and economic growth via the construction industry. Our goal is to offer direction, training, and personal development to community residents, match potential employers with qualified candidates from the community and monitor minority participation. Communities Empowered Through Concessions (CEC2) takes the same concept and extends it to the retail, food & beverage, and hospitality industry. We found that after the construction projects have come to a close and the community now has these beautiful hotels, wonderful retail locations, and exciting food & beverage brands, there were new opportunities available. Our goal once again is to engage the community and assist the hospitality industry with acquiring talent.
